In Problem, South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Copot Head Of Narcotics Unit AKBP Achmad Akbar

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police has removed AKBP Achmad Akbar as Head of Narcotics Unit at the South Jakarta Metro Police. The removal was called because of a problem.

"Because it violates or is unprofessional in carrying out its duties", said Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner E. Zulpan, to reporters on Wednesday, August 31.

However, it was not explained in detail the context of the problem carried out by AKBP Achmad Akbar so that he had to be removed from his position.

So far, Zulpan has only said that the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Fadil Imran, has appointed a replacement. The appointment was stated in ST/395/VII/KEP/2022 dated August 29, 2022.

Commissioner Ardhy, who previously served as Kanit 5 Sub-Directorate 3 of the Directorate of Drug Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, is his successor.

Currently, AKBP Achmad Akbar is undergoing an examination by the Police's Professional and Security Division (Propam) of the Metro Jaya Police.
