Compared To The Current Police And Corruption Eradication Commission, Febri Diansyah: 2-star General Ethics Trial Continues Until Dismissal
JAKARTA - Former Spokesman for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Febri Diansyah highlighted the ethics trial conducted by Inspector General Ferdy Sambo for violating the professional code of ethics for members of the police.
He compared the differences in attitudes between the Police and the KPK in dealing with ethical violations. According to Febri, the Police are still trying Ferdy even though he has submitted his resignation letter.
"In the police now: the 2-star general has resigned, the ethics trial continues until it is dismissed. The criminal case is still being processed," Febri said as quoted from his Twitter account @febridiansyah on Friday, August 26.
Meanwhile at the KPK, former Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Lili Pintauli Siregar, went free even though he was suspected of receiving accommodation and MotoGP tickets from PT Pertamina.
The reason was that Lili had already resigned from her position and was approved by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"In the current era of the KPK: KPK leaders are suspected of receiving gratuities, resigning, the ethics trial of the KPK Council will not continue," said Febri.
Not only that, Febri also mentioned the criminal process that was not continued. In fact, it is suspected that Lili received gratuities when she was the head of the KPK.
"Wonderful," he insisted.
Previously, the former Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, was dishonorably dismissed from the Police. He was declared proven to have violated the professional code of ethics for members of the police as determined by the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP).
"The dismissal was not respectful as a member of the National Police," said Head of Communications and Security, Komjen Ahmad Dofiri, reading the verdict of the ethics commission hearing Inspector General Ferdy Sambo at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday, August 26 in the morning.
In the ethics commission trial, there were dozens of witnesses presented, including Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, Brigadier General Benny Ali, Kombes Agus Nurpatria, Kombes Susanto, and Kombes Budhi Herdi.
Other witnesses, AKBP Ridwan Soplanit, AKBP Arif Rahman, AKBP Arif Cahya, Commissioner Chuk Putranto, and AKP Rifaizal Samual, Bripka Ricky Rizal.
