Police Raid Pakong Gambling Practice In Kronjo, Three Perpetrators Arrested

TANGERANG - Police raided a gambling practice of the Pakong type in Pasilian Village, Kronjo, Tangerang Regency. In this operation, there were 3 perpetrators who were arrested.

Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Pol Raden Romdhon Natakusuma said the incident occurred on Monday, August 22.

"It is true that we have arrested the perpetrators of the Pakong gambling practice. From this raid, the officers have secured 3 people who have been named as suspects," said Raden in his statement, Friday, August 26.

Raden said the raid was based on reports from residents about the practice of pakong gambling in that location. In fact, this activity is carried out every day. "This pakong gambling is done every day without a day off, especially at night," he said.

Therefore, his party immediately moved and carried out an investigation until finally the three suspects were arrested. "In addition to securing 3 people, we also secured evidence in the form of two cellular cellphones and Rp101,000.00 in cash," he said.

Now the three perpetrators must account for their actions by being charged with Article 303 of the Criminal Code and/or 303 of the Criminal Code regarding gambling with a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
