Prosecutors Examine Allegations Of Central Lombok Regent Participate In Enjoying Corruption Money BLUD Praya Hospital

MATARAM - Prosecutors' investigators traced the suspicion that the Central Lombok Regent also enjoyed the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) funds at the Praya Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

Head of the Special Criminal Section of the Central Lombok Kejari, Bratha Hariputra, said the investigation related to the allegation began with a direct statement from the Director of the Praya Hospital, dr. Muzakir Langkir, who was also dragged along as one of the suspects in the case of irregularities in the management of BLUD funds for the 2017-2020 Fiscal Year.

"So, we will re-examine the suspect (dr. Muzakir Langkir) regarding his statement regarding the involvement of another person (the Regent of Central Lombok) who also enjoyed the BLUD funds," said Bratha as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 25.

He confirmed that the statement from Dr. Muzakir was now included in the development section of the investigation.

"What is clear is that we have started to map and what is the statement in question, is included in the development of the investigation," he said.

Anton Hariawan, the attorney for the suspect, doctor Muzakir, confirmed his client's statement.

When the prosecutor's office detained Dr. Muzakir along with two other suspects, Anton confirmed that there was a flow of funds to the Regent and Deputy Regent of Central Lombok.

According to him, the flow of BLUD funds has been stated in the bookkeeping records at the Treasurer of the Central Lombok Regency Government).

"I also have the archive," said Anton.

In fact, he continued, it was not only the regent and deputy regent who also enjoyed the BLUD funds. There are also law enforcement officers (APH) and heads of offices in Central Lombok Regency, who also enjoy the funds.

"Like a deposit for Adhyaksa's 2022 anniversary, there is evidence of a receipt to the Central Lombok Kejari," he said.

He explained that the source of the deposits that went to APH and regional officials in Central Lombok came from tactical money.

"So, the tactical money is money from partners. For example, if there is a procurement partner who is carrying out a tender for the BLUD project, there is money that is sincerely set aside to the RSUD, that will be deposited to APH and regional officials," he said.

Anton said the issue of the flow of funds to officials and the APH would be a matter for legal counsel in guarding the case of Doctor Muzakir.

"We will forward this matter to the prosecutor. Because it's not only the deposit, there is also the procurement of goods given to a private hospital in Central Lombok. We will also prepare all of that in the material to be opened at trial," said Anton.

In the case of alleged corruption of BLUD funds for the 2017-2020 period, Dr. Muzakir was named a suspect along with the commitment maker (PPK) of the Praya Hospital for the 2016-2022 period, with the initials AS, and the Treasurer of the Praya Hospital for the 2017-2022 period, with the initials BPA.

Based on the results of the investigation, there was a state loss from the calculation of the Central Lombok Inspectorate with a value of at least Rp. 1.88 billion.

These losses arise in the management of the Praya Hospital BLUD funds that are not in accordance with applicable regulations.

One of the work items relates to the procurement of dry food and wet food. The value of the loss for this work is at least Rp. 890 million.
