Army Chief Of Staff General Dudung Talks About The Palace That Was 'swayed' By Farel Prayoga
JAKARTA - The Chief of Army Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman said that the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia has an extraordinary meaning.
"It is extraordinary, in my opinion, this 77th independence day, it means that we are a very advanced nation," said Dudung at the Merdeka Palace Courtyard, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 17, as reported by Antara.
Dudung said President Joko Widodo in his State Speech which was a series of commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia's Anniversary, at the MPR/DPR/DPD RI Building, Tuesday (16/8) said that Indonesia was able to overcome COVID-19.
"After COVID-19, we go forward with the community to help, how to maintain food security, and overcome the food crisis. I see the entire Indonesian nation is simultaneously overcoming this," he explained.
Meanwhile, after the Commemoration of Seconds of the Proclamation Ceremony, little singer Farel Prayoga performed the song "Ojo Dibandingke" in front of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and invited guests.
Farel's appearance was warmly welcomed by the guests sitting on the main podium, even First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and the ministers seemed to be dancing, including Dudung.
When asked about the dance, Dudung said, "Wow, this is my decision to dance. Everyone, the President, the mother and all the ministers are dancing, meaning that we enjoy this extraordinary independence," he said.
