Residents Of The Capital City Have Good News, Starting Today Transjakarta Tour Bus Operates Six Days A Week
JAKARTA - PT Transportation Jakarta has extended the operational time of the Transjakarta tour bus service to six days a week, ie every Tuesday to Sunday.
Previously, Transjakarta tour buses only operated on weekends and national holidays. The Head of the Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division, Anang Rizkani Noor, said that the extension of the operational time will take effect from today.
"The extension of the operational time is carried out to meet the interest of the people who want to enjoy the city of Jakarta with the two-decker bus service", said Anang in his statement, Tuesday, August 16.
Currently, tourist buses serve two routes, namely, BW2 Jakarta Baru (Juanda – Istiqlal PP) and BW4 Skyscraper (IRTI Monas – Bundaran Senayan).
The two routes will be served by 5 (five) bus units operating from 10:00 to 17:00 WIB. Visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of the city of Jakarta using the Transjakarta tour bus free of charge.
"We hope that people can enjoy and travel around the city of Jakarta with a tour bus service safely and comfortably, without being charged or free", said Anang.

For information, TransJakarta provides eight units of free tour buses with a maximum capacity of up to 80 passengers. The free tour bus also has a friendly design for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs.
