Some residents assisted by volunteers also began cleaning their houses from puddles and mud from the flood on Sunday, August 14 in the afternoon. It was previously reported that aftershocks accompanied by mud submerged residential areas in Hamlet 2, Hamlet 3 and Hamlet 5 in Parigi Moutong Regency on Sunday, August 14 at around 13.00 WITA.
As a result of this natural disaster, the flow of vehicular traffic was cut off because the water flow was quite heavy.
He explained that currently the disaster response status is still valid in Torue Village, because the local Government (Pemda) has issued a policy of extending the emergency response response from 12 August to 12 September 2022. He added that the logistics needs of the affected residents are still a priority. However, the availability of stock at the command post is still sufficient. "We have arranged the distribution of logistics so that it is distributed evenly," said Rivai, according to Antara.
