Ganjar Asks Investment Companies To Routinely Conduct Outreach: So No One Is Trapped
JAKARTA - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo assesses that many people are still deceived by the lure of investment. In the end, said Ganjar, they were trapped in fraudulent investments and made a loss.
He said, financial management education should be intensively disseminated to the public.
"Young people here, introduce how to invest, especially stocks," said Ganjar, Saturday, August 13.
Investment companies, said Ganjar, have an obligation to educate the public before investing. How to choose, look for legality and credibility information, so that you don't get caught up in fraudulent investments.
"Don't get caught up in bogus companies and ensure that all companies are also registered with the OJK, this is important," he said.
"The title is daring to invest, so what kind of stocks are profitable. So, we hope that they can educate the public," said Ganjar.
So that people, said Ganjar, know that there are other alternatives in managing their finances. Ganjar said, so far people are still fixated on conventional money management.
“Usually, people who have money are still conventional investments. Land, gold then assets," he said.
By educating the public about investment, Ganjar hopes that people will be more productive in managing finances.
“There is something more productive, stocks. Hopefully this can educate the public about the various investment alternatives,” he said.
