Visiting The Oldest Islamic Boarding School Hidayatussalikin In Pangkalpinang, Sandiaga Uno Wants To Improve Students' Digitization Ability
PANGKALPINANG - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno visited the Hidayatussalikin Islamic Boarding School in Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
At this oldest Islamic boarding school, Sandiaga wants students to take a role in improving digital-based human resources.
"We want to improve the digitalization capabilities of the students to create 1.1 million new and quality jobs," said Sandiaga during a visit quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 11.
Sandiaga said the visit to the Islamic boarding school which was established in 1973 was to develop and strengthen human resources for the creative economy and tourism. "These students will be educated in digitalization to become digitalpreneur students,"
"My experience as an entrepreneur is how to overcome future challenges, such as inflation, rising prices, cost of living, and the difficulty of finding jobs," he said.

The caretaker of the Hidayatussalikin Islamic Boarding School in Pangkalpinang, KH A Ja'far Shidiq, thanked Menparekraf Sandiaga for encouraging digitization of human resources for the students.
"Hopefully the visit and friendship of the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy will bring blessings to the students at this Islamic boarding school," he said.
