The IKN Fund Puzzle Is Still Rolling, Sri Mulyani Conveys The Latest Developments
JAKARTA - The government through the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani is known to still continue to commit to the development of the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago in East Kalimantan.
According to the Minister of Finance, his party is currently working on disbursing IKN funds in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR).
"We will see for 2022 the completeness of the documents and the ability to complete them until December. We are calculating this with Pak Basuki (Minister of PUPR)," he said in the middle of this week.
For information, the current period should have entered the land development agreement stage. However, this had to be postponed because they still had to wait for it to be included in the Budget Package Contents List (DIPA).
From the information gathered by the editors, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono should have signed the IKN land development contract on 15 July.
If there are no obstacles from the DIPA side, then the work on the National Capital of the Archipelago should be able to start this August.
Meanwhile, data from the Ministry of PUPR states that the budget for basic infrastructure development for IKN until 2024 is believed to require funds of Rp. 43.73 trillion.
