Teguh said that the assessment was carried out to support and ensure the use of IT can support a digital transformation of banking services and is expected to provide an overview for banks to improve the implementation of information technology in the future.

As for the readiness of banks to carry out the PTI POJK which will take effect 3 months from its promulgation on July 7, 2022, Teguh said that the banking system was ready because the regulation had previously been discussed in the formation of a blueprint for digital banking transformation involving various related parties including the industry and the Cyber Agency.
