Bharada E Suspect In The Shooting Of Brigadier J, House Of Representatives Commission III Asks The Public To Give Timsus Space To Return To Work Transparently

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR RI asked the public to provide space for a special team (timsus) to uncover the case of a shootout that killed Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.

In this case, Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E has been named a suspect. DPR Commission III member Johan Budi said that all parties must be patient waiting for the work of the special team formed by the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

"We are waiting for the work of the team formed by the National Police Chief, give us space," said Johan when contacted, Thursday, August 4.

He believes that this Timsus will work transparently and seriously according to the direction of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). "We believe that the team formed by the National Police Chief will work transparently and seriously. Moreover, the President has asked to be investigated seriously," he continued. Bharada E was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code regarding murder in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

The National Police also confirmed that Bharada E was suspected of shooting not in a self-defense position. This statement also dismissed the police's initial suspicion of shooting each other at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's halfway house in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

However, Timsus ensured that the handling of this case would continue with the examination of a number of witnesses.
