As we know, two years ago was the peak of the pandemic, where some countries went into lockdown. This habit causes people to start switching to online, from shopping, studying, working, to playing.

However, according to the data, it seems that people's habits during the pandemic have a long impact. Consumers have adopted a new behavior during a pandemic and continue to do so.

This is evident from the continued increase in the number of mobile application consumption in several countries, some of which have even increased significantly.

Singapore's mobile app consumption in the past three years has increased by 40%. Meanwhile, Indonesia increased only 10%.

Unlike the two countries above, the consumption of mobile applications in Brazil has actually decreased by 5% in the past three years.

Other countries experienced mixed growth, namely India (+5%), Japan (+5%), Canada (+20%), Russia (+10%), US (+5%), UK (+5% ), China (+5%) and Germany (+10%).

Some markets saw no growth or a slight slowdown, such as Mexico and South Korea (0%), while for Turkey, and Argentina (both at -5%).
