Transjakarta Opens Vacancies For 1,801 Bus Officers, Check Here
JAKARTA - PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta) opened the recruitment of 1,801 employees in positions as operations service officers (PLO) who were placed on buses. The recruitment process is carried out from 2 August to 7 August 2022.
Head of Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division Anang Rizkani Noor said that the procurement of PLO is Transjakarta's effort to strengthen customer safety and comfort.
"This addition of employees is Transjakarta's response to the aspirations of customers who expect services to be strengthened. In addition, of course this business can open up new jobs," said Anang in his statement, Wednesday, August 3.
The registration process can be seen on the Transjakarta website which can be accessed via the link https://transjakarta.co.id/.
A number of qualifications that must be met by prospective applicants as Transjakarta operations service officers include a minimum age of 20 years and a maximum of 27 years on August 15, 2022, a minimum height of 165 cm for men and 160 cm for women.
Other qualifications are having a minimum education level of high school or vocational school and equivalent, attractive appearance, able to communicate well, must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 at least the second dose, and be willing to work shifts.
All applicants are required to attach files such as application letter, curriculum vitae, ID card, KK, diploma, police record certificate (SKCK), and other supporting files).
Other documents required are the completeness of the requested file according to the position submitted, and a drug-free certificate issued by the National Narcotics Agency or the RSKO of the Drug Dependence Hospital.
This process is officially carried out by PT Transport Jakarta's partner, PT Sapta Sarana Sejahtera. The deadline for registration is open until Sunday, August 7, 2022, 23:59.
"This recruitment process is free of charge or free," said Anang.
Anang explained that the procurement of officers on Transjakarta buses is expected to improve customer safety and comfort.
"This is one of the important efforts that we make to ensure the comfort and convenience of customers goes well," said Anang.
In addition to helping customers use Transjakarta, PLO will also be assigned to move quickly to handle cases of alleged sexual harassment or unwanted actions.
That way, the perpetrators of sexual harassment can stop their intention to take their actions and cases of harassment in public transportation can be minimized.
“Our officers are ready to help if the customer feels there is a disturbance in the customer's safety and comfort. We encourage customers to report so they can be followed up," he said.
