If you want to take part in the event, please click https://www.pandang.istanapresiden.go.id/. It's just that, when the editor tries to open it, it always fails. Tried several times, it couldn't be opened again, Tuesday, August 2 at around 11.30 WIB.

As quoted from the video showing the launch of Pandang Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday, registration is officially open to the public via the www.pandang.istanapresiden.go.id page on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 10.30 WIB.

People who receive a physical invitation will be invited to physically participate in the Commemoration of the Seconds of the Proclamation Ceremony and the Lowering of the Red and White Flag Ceremony on August 17, 2022 at the Merdeka Palace.

Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono said invitations to participate physically were given in limited numbers. For physical ceremony invitations, the Palace provided 2,500 invitations to the Commemoration Ceremony of the 77th Proclamation of the Republic of Indonesia and 2,500 invitations to physical ceremonies at the Sang Merah Putih Flag Lowering Ceremony.

Meanwhile, to take part in the virtual ceremony, the Palace provided 77 thousand invitations for the public.

"This year, we hope that 77 thousand virtual invitees will join us and we must participate. There will be entertainment. Apart from that, people can interact with each other. We give them the opportunity to interact, discuss, and talk to each other. Maybe there are people from Aceh, from Ambon, they can meet even from a distance, but we unite in a virtual event commemorating August 17," said Heru as quoted by Antara.

The number of virtual invitations increased from the previous year which amounted to around 40 thousand.

Head of the Protocol Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana explained that the addition of the invitation was due to the high public interest in participating in the RI Independence Anniversary ceremony.

"The public's interest in attending and participating in celebrating the birthday of the Republic of Indonesia is very high. Not only people in Jakarta, people in the region, people from Sabang to Merauke, even diaspora people living abroad are also eager to attend the virtual ceremony in commemoration of Independence Day," said Yusuf.

Yusuf continued that applicants who register for the invitation quota will first verify their data and then receive messages via WhatsApp and electronic mail containing provisions for participating in the ceremony in person, as well as via video conference, and detailed information on taking physical invitations.

"Not only that, the Presidential Secretariat will also give various prizes with various categories to several winners, and consolation prizes for the first 100 people who join the virtual ceremony of the 77th Proclamation Commemoration Ceremony and the first 100 people who join the Decline Ceremony. The Red and White Flag, besides that there will be very interesting entertainment," said Yusuf.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin said that the virtual implementation of the ceremony also had its own challenges. According to him, the most challenging thing is how to transfer the atmosphere of the physical ceremony in the field to the virtual one.

"The challenge is if it's virtual like that, how to move the atmosphere on land to online (online). I think the second one is better if there is entertainment, there are all kinds, so it seems as if the participants or invitees that we present online are present at the Palace," said Bey.
