JAKARTA - Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawati, will visit the office of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), Cijantung, East Jakarta, today, Monday, August 1.
Putri Candrawati is scheduled to undergo the assessment process for protection requests at 13.30 WIB. The witness who is a victim of sexual harassment will be accompanied by a team of legal counsel and clinical psychologists. Previously, LPSK waited for the presence of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's wife to carry out an assessment process for protection requests. However, until yesterday, Sunday, July 31, LPSK had not received any information on when Putri Candrawati would conduct the assessment process.
According to him, the application for protection will be automatically rejected if the applicant does not carry out the assessment process within one month. It's been 30 working days since the application was submitted on July 14, 2022. "Yes, the application was rejected, because we consider it uncooperative," he said.
Nevertheless, Hasto said that Ferdy Sambo's wife could re-apply for protection again while still having to carry out the assessment process.
"It could be (applying for protection again)," he said.
