Ahok Sends Congratulations Wreaths At Princess Anies Baswedan's Wedding

JAKARTA - Former DKI Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) sent a congratulatory wreath at the wedding reception for the daughter of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, Mutiara Annisa, in the Candi Bentar hall, Putri Duyung Resort Ancol, North Jakarta.

Ahok's wreath reads congratulations on marriage in English and in gold, accompanied by a heart symbol and two doves surrounding the names of Mutiara and her husband Ali Saleh Alhuraebi.

A congratulatory wreath from Ahok was accompanied by similar remarks from the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces General Andika Perkasa and wife Hetty Andika Perkasa, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir and Army Chief of Staff General Dudung Abdurachman and wife Rahma Dudung Abdurachman.

Meanwhile, wreaths from President and Vice President Joko Widodo and Ma'ruf Amin were placed right near the entrance.

As of 19.29 WIB, a number of guests had started to arrive at the location of the wedding reception in the Ancol Dreamland Park area.

One of them was the chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, who was accompanied by the chairman of the DPP of the NasDem Party and a member of the DPR Willy Aditya.

Surya said tonight was a happy moment for Anies Baswedan, so he wanted to congratulate him directly.

"Yes, we say, the arrival of a happy day for the family of Mr. Anies Baswedan, yes. I also attended his daughter's wedding reception and at the same time wished the family and the bride and groom to be happy," said Surya.

Apart from Surya Paloh, the General Chair of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Head of the Presidential Staff Office Moeldoko, Chairman of the National Mandate Party and Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan.

Furthermore, the Jakarta Metro Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran to the Pademangan Police Chief Kompol Happy Saputra were also seen at the location of the event with the Greater Jakarta Military Regional Command Commander, Maj. Gen. TNI Untung Budiharto.
