The Localization Of Mount Antang Jatinegara Has Not Yet Been Dismantled, Deputy Governor Riza Patria Is Waiting For A Letter From KAI
JAKARTA - The discourse on controlling the localization of Mount Antang, Jatinegara, East Jakarta and the demolition of buildings there has been circulating for some time. However, so far the demolition has not been carried out.
Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that the DKI Provincial Government could not immediately carry out control. This is because the localization land belongs to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).
"The localization in Gunung Antang is land owned by KAI. To this day, we have not received a letter from KAI regarding the control," said Riza at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, July 27.
Riza admitted that he was waiting for KAI to coordinate by sending a letter to the DKI Provincial Government so that the East Jakarta City Government and the DKI Satpol PP could move to carry out the demolition.
Bearing in mind, local residents have also asked the government to regulate the localization of Mount Antang.
"We must respect each other, it cannot be done immediately. We have to find a solution, there are requests from residents to clean up the localization," he said.
For information, the existence of the Gunung Antang localization beside Matraman Station has been around for a long time. Residents of RW 01 Rawa Bunga Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta complained about the existence of Gunung Antang prostitution localization.
The complaint was made after a series of attacks by thugs from the Gunung Antang localization group on residential areas using sharp weapons and firearms.
As the land owner, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) plans to demolish the Gunung Antang prostitution building in Matraman District, East Jakarta in July.
A number of illegal buildings will be made public facilities, one of which is green open space (RTH). However, hundreds of wild huts and dimly lit stalls on PT KAI's land are still standing strong to this day.
Rows of wild huts made of wood and plywood are still visible in the prostitution area. To trick the officers' eyes, the wild huts were covered with rows of zinc.
