Disbanding Motorcycle Gang Members In Binjai, North Sumatra, 11 People Arrested, Celurit And Motorcycle Gear Confiscated
MEDAN - Members of a motorcycle gang around Soekarno-Hatta Street, East Binjai District, Binjai City, North Sumatra, were disbanded by the police. Eleven people were arrested.
The Head of Public Relations of the Binjai Police, Iptu Junaidi, said that the dissolution of the motorcycle gang started from information regarding public unrest. Because, during the convoy, the motorcycle gang was suspected of carrying sharp weapons.
"The Criminal Investigation Unit (later) gave chase to the motorcycle gang at around 03.00 WIB," said Iptu Junaidi, Monday, July 25.
During the chase, the police arrested 11 members of a motorcycle gang. Of the 11 members who were arrested, most were minors.
"Their initials are KL (16) 7. R (19), YP (15), FR (16), SM (16), MA (19), KKS (15), WT (19), FDA (18) , KM (21), and MA (15)," he said.
From their hands the police confiscated a number of pieces of evidence. Among them are sickles, bayonet knives, motorcycle gears that have been tied with a belt.
"2 stones, 1 drink bottle, 2 bags and 5 motorbikes," he continued.
Furthermore, the perpetrators and evidence were taken to the Binjai Timur Police for legal proceedings.
