PPSU Officers Find Man's Body Floating In Sunter River, Jakut

JAKARTA - An unidentified body (Mr. X) was found in Kali Sunter Koja, North Jakarta. It is known that the body is a male, estimated to be 50 years old.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police, AKP Yayan Heri Setiawan said that the discovery of the body was first noticed by the Public Infrastructure & Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers on Friday, July 22, in the afternoon.

"So this discovery was made by the PPSU who found the body in Sunter River, yes. So the body has floated," Yamin told reporters, Friday, July 22.

Yamin ensured that there were no injuries or signs of violence on the victim's body. This is known when looking directly at the condition of the corpse with the naked eye.

"As for the injuries, we can see that physically it's still nil," he said.

However, to find out the cause and identity of the victim, the body was taken to the RSCM, Central Jakarta, for further action.

Not only that, his party is also still investigating the case of the discovery of the body in the Sunter Koja River.

"While still conducting an investigation. Residents who recognized or saw the body died. (The victim) was taken to the RSCM," he concluded.
