Pertamina Truck Accident In Cibubur Handled By Bekasi City Police Traffic Unit, Police: Members Are Still Checking The Location Of The Incident

JAKARTA - A series of accidents involving Pertamina's trucks occurred on the Transyogi Alternative Highway, Cibubur, in front of the CBD, RT 01/01, Jatirangga Village, Jatisampurna District, Bekasi, Monday, July 18. As a result of the accident, dozens of people were injured and died.

When confirmed, the Head of Public Relations of the Bekasi Metro Police, Kompol Erna Ruswing, said that his party had not received detailed information regarding the incident.

The accident involved a number of drivers, both motorbikes and cars.

According to the report of Danramil 702/PG, the chronology of the incident began when a Pertamina fuel truck suspected of having a failed brake hit a number of drivers from the Cikeas descent. The driver of the Pertamina truck took the initiative to swerve to the left.

From temporary data, it was reported that 15 people died, including one TNI member from the Navy Headquarters.
