Get An Honor Of IDR 15 Billion For Playing A Hollywood Movie, Iko Uwais Chooses To Solve The Problem Peacefully

JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police stated that the case of alleged abuse with the reported actor Iko Uwais ended peacefully based on the agreement of both parties. The Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, said Iko Uwais and the reporter on behalf of Rudi had met at the Bekasi City Metro Police on Monday, July 11, and agreed to make peace.

"The results of last night's mediation were agreed by both parties, namely finding a common ground for peace", said Endra Zulpan in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 12.

Zulpan added that both parties have also agreed to withdraw their respective reports, namely Iko Uwais who reported the alleged defamation, and Rudi who reported the alleged abuse.

"So on that basis, this case is not raised to the next stage because there has been a peace agreement from those who are litigating", said Zulpan.

Previously, Iko Uwais was reported on a case of alleged beating by a reporter on behalf of Rudi on Saturday, June 11.

The case began when Rudi wanted to collect payment for interior design services from the house Iko was building in the Cibubur area.

Initially, Rudi sent the bill via WhatsApp, but Iko did not respond.

Then, when Rudi and his wife were on their way home, they passed in front of Iko's house in the Summarecon area of Bekasi, on Saturday, June 11.

At that time, Iko called the victim by clapping his hands and shouting. After that, the victim and his wife got out of the car.

Then Iko along with his sister named Firmansyah and his wife Audi approached the victim and the witness' wife. Then a fight ensued which led to a beating.

However, Iko Uwais then made a counter-report on the alleged defamation by reporting on behalf of Rudi and Vitria Mahardika Inda to the Metro Jaya Police, on Tuesday, June 14.

Iko Uwais's report and registered with the number LP/B/2895/VI/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.

From the start, Iko had intended to end the matter peacefully. He called love peace. Therefore mediation can find a middle way.

Legal issues will certainly have a negative impact on the image of the action artist who has penetrated Hollywood. Iko said that he initially worked as an action choreographer. His first job did not provide much income.

“The first role as a choreographer is only IDR 21 million. It took four months to complete. But that's because I'm new", said Iko Uwais on the AH YouTube channel which was uploaded on Sunday, May 22.

After becoming an actor, the value of his contract changed drastically. "Thank God, I can pay for electricity. It is above one million dollars (United States)", said Iko Uwais. If converted, Iko Uwais' honorarium is almost IDR 14.5 billion or almost IDR 15 billion.
