Kimia Farma's Healthy Qurban Distributes 3,500 Cans Of Rendang Throughout Indonesia
JAKARTA - PT Kimia Farma Tbk provided 29 cows for sacrifice. A total of 14 cows were distributed to remote areas of Padang on behalf of 98 shohibul qurban from the community category.
Meanwhile, the other 15 cows were distributed to Kimia Farma Group's operational areas on behalf of 105 shohibul qurban for the category of Kimia Farma Group employees at the implementing or outsourcing level who have not been able to make qurban this year. A total of 203 shohibul qurban have been assisted by Kimia Farma in offering qurban.
The slaughter of qurban animals is carried out at the Pesanggaran Bali Slaughterhouse (RPH). The sacrificial animal to be slaughtered has a certificate of passing a health test from the Health Office.
Slaughterers and abattoirs have also been certified. The procession of slaughtering qurban animals was witnessed by all of Kimia Farma's qurban shohibul through a zoom meeting. In its implementation, slaughtering pays attention to hygiene and sanitation and still adheres to health protocols.
Unlike last year, this time Kimia Farma distributed qurban products in the form of ready-to-serve rendang in cans. There will be 3,500 ready-to-eat rendang cans distributed to Kimia Farma Group's operational areas, which include Jakarta, Cikarang, Bandung, Subang, Semarang, Jombang, Bali.
"Honestly, I feel happy and grateful with the assistance of Kimia Farma's 2022 Healthy Qurban, hopefully, this program will always be available every year," said Ariska Dwi, shohibul qurban from the Kimia Farma Pharmacy Nusa Dua Bali employee category, in a statement, quoted Tuesday 12 July.
Kimia Farma 2022 Healthy Qurban is one of the company's commitments to stakeholders, in this case, the community around the company entity. Of course, this program is also in line with the goal of SDG point 2 related to efforts to achieve food and nutrition security by reducing the prevalence of insufficient food consumption in the community.

The purchase of sacrificial animals is made to local farmers with the aim of prospering and creating economic equality, which is also in line with SDG point 8.
