Trade Minister Zulhas: Oil Has A Distribution Permit And Is Registered With The Ministry Of Law And Human Rights
JAKARTA - Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan revealed that bulk cooking oil in simple packaging with the brand 'Minyakita' has been registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and has a distribution permit.
Later, he continued, both state-owned and private companies could use the brand.
"Minyakita has been registered and has a distribution permit. Any company can use it to be marketed in various places," said Zulhas at the launch of Oilita, at the Ministry of Trade, Wednesday, July 6.
Meanwhile, Acting Director General of Domestic Trade Syailendra explained, "Oilita is a trademark owned by the Ministry of Trade which has been registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with the IDM brand certificate number 00203152.
"The Oilita brand can be used by any producer and by cooking oil packers with a validity period of 4 years and can be extended provided that it meets the requirements. Both distribution permits and from BPOM," said Syailendra.
Syailendra explained that the launch of people's packaged cooking oil was aimed at initiating the distribution of cooking oil in the context of DMO using packaging.
To introduce Oilita, he continued, a sale will be held to the public.
According to him, currently there are only two companies that are willing to produce Oilita.
"It has only been supported by 2 companies, PT BEST Group, PT Panca Nabati Prakarsa. Soon there will be 7 more companies that are packed. The acceleration can accelerate distribution, especially to the eastern region. Where in terms of distribution it is more difficult," he said.
Previously, the Minister of Trade (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan officially launched bulk cooking oil in simple packaging or Oilita.
Meanwhile, Oil is part of the People's Bulk Cooking Oil (MGCR) program.
The launch of the Oil was carried out at the Head Office of the Ministry of Trade, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 6. The launch was attended by Deputy Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga and Executive Director of GIMNI Sahat Sinaga.
