Erick Thohir Targets BUMN Dividend To Reach IDR 50 Trillion In 2024
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir, targets that the dividend contribution of state-owned companies will continue to increase every year.
For 2024, Erick targets BUMN dividend contribution of IDR 50 trillion.
Erick said the total dividend contribution of state-owned companies to the state in 2022 was IDR 39.7 trillion.
For 2023, Erick has set a target of IDR 43 trillion.
"In fact, in 2024 the target is around IDR 50 trillion", he said during a Working Meeting with Commission VI, at the House of Representatives (DPR) Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Monday, July 4.
In front of Commission VI of the House of Representatives (DPR), Erick said, the contribution of SOEs that had been given to the state in the last three years was approximately IDR 1,200 trillion. The figure comes from taxes, dividends, and profit-sharing.
"For the last 10 years, the total was IDR 4,013 trillion. This means that in the last 3 years there has been an increase of IDR 50 trillion each year. It is higher than the previous year cumulatively", he said.
To encourage this performance, said Erick, state-owned companies also need working capital.
The government, in this case, the Ministry of SOEs, is seeking approval from the DPR to approve the proposed additional state capital participation (PMN) for the 2023 fiscal year and what are the objectives of carrying out corporate actions in 2022.
"We will pay attention and we will deepen it, especially we will make sure that this PMN certainly brings good results, not just relying on state-owned finance to the state", he said.
For your information, the Ministry of SOEs proposes additional PMN for 10 state-owned companies worth IDR 73.26 trillion, consisting of cash PMN of IDR 69.82 trillion and non-cash PLN of IDR 3.44 trillion.

The details on the use of cash PMN include PT PLN (Persero) worth IDR 10 trillion, holding SOE Defense or Defend ID of IDR 3 trillion, holding of Food SOEs of IDR 2 trillion, and PT. Hutama Karya (Persero) of IDR 30.56 trillion.
Then tourism holding or in journey worth IDR 9.5 trillion, IFG IDR 6 trillion, PT KAI (Persero) IDR 4.1 trillion, Indonesia Re IDR 3 trillion, Perum Damri IDR 870 billion, and Airnav Indonesia IDR 790 billion.
Meanwhile, non-cash PMN 2023 is shown for Defend ID of IDR 838 billion and ID FOOD of IDR 2.609 trillion.
