Primajasa Bus Accident On Cipali Toll Road, 2 Dead, 12 Injured
JAKARTA - Two people are reported to have died in a traffic accident between a truck and a Primajasa bus on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road KM 93+600, Sunday, July 3.
Head of the Operations Division of Astra Cipali Toll Road, Sri Mulyo, in his statement, Sunday, July 3, said that the accident involved a Mitsubishi Coltdiesel truck, number B-9883-VDA and a Primajasa bus, numbered B-7291-FGA.
The incident started when the truck from Cirebon to Jakarta stumbled into the median and was stuck on the wire rope (guard rail made of steel slings) line A (Jakarta-Cirebon).
At that time the truck had a single accident, allegedly because the driver lost control at high speed.
Then suddenly, the truck was hit by a Primajasa bus from the opposite direction.
As a result of the incident, traffic flow was blocked. However, it can still be passed by road users.
Sri Mulyo said that at that time the Cipali Astra Toll road safety service officers immediately evacuated 12 people with minor injuries, one seriously injured and two dead.
The victims were then taken to the Radjak Hospital in Purwakarta Regency.
The Astra Cipali Toll Road as the manager of the Cikopo-Palimana Toll Road appealed to road users to always drive safely by obeying traffic signs.
It is stated that the speed limit for crossing the Cipali Toll Road is a minimum of 60 km/hour and a maximum speed limit of 100 km/hour.
