Bali Mandara Toll Arrangement Is Almost Complete, Ready To Welcome The G20 Delegation
DENPASAR - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) through its subsidiary PT Jasa Marga Bali Tol (JBT) conveyed that the arrangement of the Bali Mandara Toll Road is almost complete and is ready to welcome the G20 delegation considering that the construction as of June 2022 has reached 90 percent.
President Director of PT JBT I Ketut Adiputra Karang targets that all work, including the arrangement of three toll gates in Nusa Dua, Benoa, and Ngurah Rai, and the installation of ornaments on public road lighting poles along the toll road, will be completed in the second week of July 2022.
"Currently, 549 units of PJU pole ornaments are being installed," Adiputra said as quoted by Antara, Friday, July 1.
PT Jasa Marga Bali Tol in collaboration with PT Bukit Energi Investama also installed solar power plants at three toll gates. Adiputra explained that the use of solar energy is PT JBT's support for the climate action of Indonesia's leadership/presidency at the G20.
Therefore, not only switching from fossil energy to clean energy, PT JBT as the toll manager also planted more than 756,000 mangrove seedlings at the Ngurah Rai interchange and KM 3+600 Bali Mandara Toll Road.
"We have finished planting a total of 756,800 mangrove seedlings on the Bali Mandara Toll Road, precisely at the Ngurah Rai Interchange and at KM 3+600. This number includes the planting of mangroves that form the G20 writing of 158x54 meters with a total of 300,000 seedlings," he said.
His party encountered a number of obstacles and challenges in managing the Bali Mandara Toll Road, including erratic weather and strong winds which, according to BMKG predictions, would blow throughout July 2022.
"Currently, for all plants in the toll road area, we are watering 2 times a day and fertilizing every 2 weeks, including anticipating the toll gate tidying work schedule which will also be affected by rain and wind," said the President Director of PT JBT.
