Had Collapsed In The Plenary Meeting, Muhidin: Earlier I Felt I Lost My Concentration, But Now I've Recovered

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Budget Agency (Banggar) Muhidin Mohamad Said clarified his condition that Usui suddenly fell in front of the Speaker of the DPR, Puan Maharani, after submitting the DPR Banggar report regarding the RAPBN for the 2023 fiscal year.

Muhidin admitted that he collapsed due to loss of concentration. However, he is grateful that his health condition has improved.

"I did feel like I was constantly losing concentration, but God has the power and now I have recovered," Muhidin said in a video recording, Thursday, June 30.

He also thanked all his fellow DPR members, Golkar Party officials, Golkar Party elders and also the mass media for paying attention to the events at the plenary session.

"May God Almighty always protect us all and continue to work and work for the nation and state," said the Golkar politician.

Previously, the Secretary General of the DPR, Indra Iskandar, revealed that the cause of Muhidin's collapse at the plenary session was suspected to be hypertension. However, he said, Muhidin's condition has now improved.

"Mr. Muhidin was blackout for a while and fell but was able to stand up again. Information from the doctor in the medical service department he had hypertension," said Indra to reporters, Thursday, June 30.

Even so, Indra could not confirm further conditions related to Muhidin's health. According to him, the member of Commission V of the DPR needs to do further health checks to find out Muhidin's illness.

"Currently, our clinic has observed further and to make sure, of course we have to go to the MCU (medical check-up)," said Indra.
