Two Teens Clash In Cengkareng Area, Police: It's Disbanded
JAKARTA - Two groups of teenagers were involved in a riot in the area of the Grand Mosque of KH Hasyim Asy'ari, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Tuesday, June 28, evening.
According to the information gathered, the two groups of teenagers involved in the fight were from the Pesakih and Kamdur groups.
The brawl was also recorded by amateur video. Two groups of youths were seen clashing with their bare hands and running.
The commotion allegedly started from an act of blasphemy by the Kamdur group against Pesakih children. Then because they did not accept it, there was a commotion between the group of teenagers hitting each other.
Luckily, the commotion didn't last long. The teenagers who were involved in the clashes dispersed. It is not yet known whether there were any injuries or other injuries as a result of this commotion.
The Head of the Cengkareng Police, Kompol Ardhie Demastyo, confirmed the commotion between the teenagers, but it did not last long.
They also checked the location at the time of the incident. No witnesses have been examined regarding the incident. The case is still under investigation by the Cengkareng Police.
"By the time the members got there (the brawl) had already disbanded," he said briefly when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, June 29.
