Kaltara Police Delegates Illegal Gold Mining Case Involving First Brigadier HSB To The Prosecutor
TARAKAN - The North Kalimantan Regional Police (Kaltara) has transferred a case of illegal gold mining involving a police officer, Brigadier HSB, to the Bulungan District Attorney's Office in Tanjung Selor.
The Head of Public Relations of the Kaltara Polda Kombes Budi Rachmat said that three suspects were handed over to the Bulungan District Attorney's Office today, namely M Idrus alias Ayung, Mustari alias Maco, and Hairuddin Alansyah alias Eca.
Meanwhile, the illegal gold mining case involving HSB and partner M alias A has been declared complete (P-21) on Tuesday (28/6) and is just waiting for coordination with the prosecutor to proceed to the next stage.
"The development of the HSB case has reached P-21 and is currently in phase two of sending suspects and evidence to the Bulungan District Attorney's Office," said Rachmat as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 29.
HSB, who was arrested at Juwata International Airport, Tarakan, on Wednesday (4/5), was named a suspect in the illegal gold mining case in Sekatak Buji Village, Sekatak District, Bulungan Regency. Meanwhile, M alias A, was stated to be on the people's wanted list.
On Thursday (21/4) the North Kalimantan Police received information regarding an alleged illegal gold mine located in Sekatak Buji Village, Sekatak District, Bulungan Regency.
The North Kalimantan Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, formed a special team from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the North Kalimantan Police, the Bulungan Police and the Tarakan Police, to investigate and investigate the case. The police are also coordinating with the deputy for eradicating the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) regarding the alleged flow of funds to several parties from HSB.
