CIANJUR - Cianjur Police Chief AKBP Doni Hermawan ordered his members to shoot at motorized gangs that were troubling residents or road users, especially convoys carrying sharp weapons.

"Shoot on the spot for members of the motorized gang who act, especially carrying out reckless convoys while carrying sharp weapons," Doni said in Cianjur, West Java, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, June 28.

The act of motorized gangs that disturb residents especially committing criminal acts, he said, will be dealt with firmly in a measurable manner. Including a motorized mob who a few days ago slashed a boy in Cianjur.

"Previously a number of motorized gangs in Cianjur had pledged not to commit a crime and disturbed the public," he said. If proven, they will disband by removing all the attributes that are often used.

"We will automatically summon the chairman and his members and immediately make a statement to disband themselves. If they are proven to have committed the same act again, they will be subject to legal sanctions," he said.

The motorized gang who called themselves GBR had previously carried out a convoy in the middle of Cianjur city by wearing attributes while carrying sharp weapons.

The action disturbed the residents, especially one of the gang had slashed a child who had just returned from the mosque.

The victim, on behalf of Dzikri Mulki (14), a student of a public junior high school in Cianjur, suffered a stab wound to the head and was taken to the Cianjur Hospital for medical assistance.
