Microsoft Prepares Mouse And Keyboard Support For Xbox Cloud Gaming
JAKARTA - Microsoft's Xbox Cloud Gaming will soon receive mouse and keyboard support for their service. The company revealed in a video upload on YouTube some time ago.
This news was conveyed through a discussion session on Xbox Game Streaming xFest. Currently, the developer is expected to immediately include this additional support into his game streaming service, so that players can enjoy it through the latest version of xCloud that will come.
This Microsoft cloud gaming service comes as a feature of Xbox Game Pass Unlimited. Everyone who has subscribed will have the opportunity to enjoy a series of Xbox games directly through smartphones, PCs, or smart TVs that are already integrated.
Currently, Xbox Cloud Gaming is available on mobile devices, PCs, and Samsung TVs, and only supports playing using a gamepad on a PC, or a console-like controller. But, now, players will soon be able to play the game using mouse and keyboard.
In addition, Microsoft announced its plans to increase the latency to be lower. Latency itself can be spelled out delays or delays in the data sent will be cut up to 72 ms (milliseconds). Lower latency can result in a smooth game without any delays.
Unfortunately, the improvements to the latency have not been able to support HDR graphic quality. Currently, players can only enjoy resolutions of 720p (on smartphones) and 1080p (on PCs and browsers).
However, Microsoft says it is working on improving the visual quality of the new streaming method that maxes out at 1440p resolution.
