At The DKI Jakarta Anniversary Plenary Meeting, Anies Thanked The Previous Governor

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan attended a plenary meeting to commemorate Jakarta's 495th anniversary at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building.

In his remarks, Anies thanked a number of parties, one of which was the former Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta for the previous period.

"To the former governors and former deputy governors of the DKI Jakarta Province, I thank you for your presence and guidance," said Anies, Wednesday, June 22.

In addition, Anies also expressed his gratitude to all ranks of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), the ranks of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kodam Jaya and other elements of the TNI who he considers to play an active role in securing the capital city.

Anies also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD for their cooperation, commitment and participation in the success of the development of the City of Jakarta.

At the age of Jakarta which is almost 500 years old, Anies appreciates the achievements of the development of the City of Jakarta and all parties who have been involved. Anies emphasized that the success of development in the city of Jakarta is a reflection of the results of the struggle and collaboration of the people of Jakarta in the past, present and future.

"Jakarta continues to grow and move forward to make its citizens happy and become a global city on par with other big cities in the world," said Anies.

"In fact, the city of Jakarta will still have its own charm and will continue to be a center of global economic growth. Future Jakarta will also remain a center of culture, education, and a meeting point for various ethnic groups in Indonesia and the world," he continued.

Anies realizes that the success of the development that has been obtained today is part of the results of development from previous years, including the Unqualified Predicate (WTP) which the DKI Provincial Government has won for the fifth time.

"This year we succeeded in maintaining the Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for the fifth time. This achievement was made possible thanks to hard work, consistency, persistence, seriousness and togetherness of work across the executive and legislative ranks within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government," he explained.

For information, the plenary meeting which is held every year is attended by officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs; the chairman and deputy chairmen of the DKI Jakarta DPRD; members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD; DKI Jakarta Provincial Government officials; members of DKI Jakarta Forkopimda; the head of the regional DPRD in the buffer zone; as well as scholars, community leaders, to religious leaders.
