Gowa Regency Government Hands Over Kodim Dormitory To Pangdam XIV Hasanuddin

GOWA - Pangdam XIV Hasanuddin Major General TNI Andi Muhammad received the handover of the soldiers' dormitory from the Gowa Regency Government after the construction was completed.

"On behalf of the TNI, I give my appreciation to the Gowa Regency Government for its attention to the soldiers of Kodam XIV/Hasanuddin who are at the Kodim 1409 Gowa," he said in Gowa, South Sulawesi, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, June 21.

TNI Major General Andi Muhammad even praised the Gowa Regency Government for showing its concern for TNI soldiers and so far being able to build synergies with the TNI-Polri.

"I give the highest appreciation for being able to collaborate and being able to give empathy to our members," he said.

Therefore, he hopes that the Kodim 1409 Gowa soldiers who occupy the dormitory will be grateful and take care of and maintain the housing well.

"Especially to all the soldiers of the Kodim 1409 Gowa who got this house. I ask to be grateful to God and then I ask that this house is really well maintained and use this house as a crown with the family," he said.

Gowa Regent Adnan Purrichta Ichsan who handed over the Kodim 1409 Gowa Dormitory said that the dormitory for Kodim soldiers is a form of solidarity and cooperation between the Gowa Regency Government and the TNI.

He mentioned that previously, the Kodim Dormitory was on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto Sungguminasa which was later moved to Taeng Village, Pallangga District.

The previous location for the Kodim Dormitory, continued Adnan, will be a Public Service Mall. In this Public Service Mall, all types of services in Gowa Regency will be united to make it easier for the community to manage things.

"That's what made the Gowa Regency Government communicate with the Kodim to be moved, relocated the Kodim Dormitory in HOS Cokroaminoto. Through quite a long discussion, thank God we succeeded in constructing this dormitory," he said.

Adnan hopes that the existence of the new dormitory can improve the performance of all Kodim 1409 Gowa Soldiers so that Gowa Regency is safer, more peaceful, more advanced, and the people will be more prosperous in the future.

Adnan added that 33 housing units were built in the 1409 Gowa Kodim Dormitory and were built in two stages. The first stage is 16 houses and the second stage is 17 houses.

"We believe that there will be no progress in this area without the presence of security and peace for its citizens and what guarantees security and peace is of course the TNI and Polri who are at the forefront," he said.

Prasetyo Ari Wibowo, Chair of the Gowa Regency DPRD, Rafiuddin, Head of Gowa Police, AKBP Tri Gofaruddin, Head of Gowa District Attorney, Yeni Andirani, Head of Court Negeri Sungguminasa, Hasanuddin, as well as a number of SKPD leaders and sub-district heads throughout Gowa Regency.
