PDIP Plans Political Safari After National Work Meeting, Will Discuss 2024 Presidential Candidates
JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP) will conduct political communication with a number of political parties after the Jakarta II National Working Meeting (Rakernas). The National Working Meeting is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, June 23.
"After the National Working Meeting, we will go on a tour," PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto told reporters at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 21.
Even though he just wants to start a political safari, Hasto still appreciates the general chairmen of the parties who have already carried out these activities.
Including, the friendship that was built by the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) and the Gerindra Party-National Awakening Party (PKB).
"PDIP responded very positively to the meeting of party chairmen, Mr. Airlangga, Mr. Zulkifli Hasan, Mr. Airlangga and Mr. Suharso Monoarfa. As well as Mr. Prabowo and Cak Imin. Everything was good, that's the political friendship," he said.
Hasto views that an inter-party political safari is indeed necessary to build a common point of view facing the 2024 General Election. This includes the ones that will be carried out by PDIP regarding the candidates for the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
That's why, Hasto continued, if things don't go wrong, the PDIP will carry out a gathering in the near future to see if there is a common political perception.
"That's the friendship of cooperation in carrying out the presidential candidates for vice president candidates, the similarity of the agenda platform for the future," he concluded.
