Sandiaga Uno Praises MSME Products Made By Deaf Student
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, became the first buyer of the work of the Assabikunal Madrasah of the Deaf, Awalun Tasikmalaya. Sandiaga gave his appreciation for the work made by his deaf friends.
"It's amazing, our younger siblings who have limitations produce products that have high selling power. So it shows that our younger siblings with special needs can actually produce products that have good quality. I am quite proud to be the first buyer of their work", said Sandiaga in a statement received, Monday, June 20.
Sandiaga also said that for marketing later their work would be included in the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement.
"Which of which there are 30 million MSMEs including provincial MSMEs will also enter the platform and the government is obliged to provide for the needs of these MSMEs", said Sandiaga.
Meanwhile, Yadi Mulyadi as caregiver and teacher at the Assabikunal Madrasah for the Deaf, Awalun Tasikmalaya, was very happy that Sandiaga was the first buyer of works made by deaf friends.
"Alhamdulillah, I am happy with the things that Mr. Sandi bought, meaning that someone is paying attention so that with their limitations, they have works that they can be proud of", said Yadi.

Yadi hopes that the works that have been purchased by Sandiaga can be widely promoted.
In addition, he also hopes that the works that have been made can be exhibited through a working gallery so that they can increase the enthusiasm of deaf friends.
"I hope that this work can be widely promoted, and can be helped for capital so that it can increase their enthusiasm. I also hope that their work can be exhibited through a working gallery", said Yadi.
