COVID-19 Update As Of June 18: 1.264 New Cases, Recovered 523
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 63.109 specimens were examined with the result of 1.264 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,066,908 and active cases have increased by 736 to 8.062," said Health Ministry data, Saturday, June 18.
Today's recovered cases increased by 523 cases, bringing the total to 5.902.162 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation that 5 died and a total of 156,684 people.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 291 recovered cases. Followed by Banten with an additional 84 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 64 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 53 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 99.933.102.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 2.60 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 3.606 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 201.131.104 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 168.429.070 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
