Airport Daker Ready To Accept Second Wave Of Candidates For Hajj Pilgrims
MAKKAH - The airport's work area (Daker) is ready to receive the second batch of prospective Indonesian hajj pilgrims who are planned to arrive at King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
"On June 19, along with the arrival of the last batch in Medina, the first batch of pilgrims will also depart for the second batch in Jeddah," said Head of the Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) Arsad Hidayat as quoted by Antara, Saturday, June 18.
Arsad added that his party is currently also preparing a second batch of services for the arrival of Indonesian pilgrims.
They departed from the country and will land at King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah.
Especially for those who are on duty at Daker Airport, Saturday night, they have added two service concentrations besides those gathered in Medina.
Some of the officers have also left for Jeddah Airport.
"This has been prepared by the airport team. Some of them have already left for Jeddah to prepare to welcome the second wave of pilgrims, including providing catering for pilgrims in Jeddah," he said.
The second batch of pilgrims upon arrival in Jeddah will receive a one-time catering service, while for those departing in the first batch, catering services at the airport will be provided upon their return.
"Preparations for the arrival of pilgrims in Makkah have also been prepared, including how to prepare a service scheme at Arafah-Muzdalifah-Mina (Armuzna)," said Arsad.
