Police Name 4 Suspects Of Burning Residents' Houses In Buleleng, Kelian Adat Julah Village To Be Examined
BULELENG - Buleleng Police, Bali named four people as suspects in the case of burning a resident's house in Julah Village, Buleleng Regency.
The suspects identified were INK (71), KS (43), IWS (30), and SK (28). The suspects are still residents of the same village who were detained at different places and times.
"The results of the development of the investigation are related to the alleged criminal act of jointly committing violence against goods. For the time being, four people have been designated as suspects, all of whom are from Julah Village", said Head of Public Relations of the Buleleng Police, AKP Gede Sumarjaya, Monday, June 13.
The determination of the suspect was decided after the police found sufficient evidence. The four suspects are now being held at the Buleleng Police Headquarters
"The determination (of the suspect) is based on sufficient evidence. This means that there are witnesses, the results of the crime scene processing and there is evidence as well as the place of the incident, as well as the time of the incident", he added.
In addition, the Kelian Adat of Julah Village named Ketut Sidemen (64) and the Traditional Treasurer of Julah Village Ketut Sada (42) were also questioned on Sunday, June 12.
"Kelian Adat and the Treasurer of the Julah Traditional Village were examined as witnesses in an alleged criminal act of jointly committing violence against goods as referred to in the formulation of Article 170 of the Criminal Code", said Sumarjaya.
"Against Ketut Sidemen and Ketut Sada in the examination, their status is as witnesses, so that the two witnesses are expected to remain cooperative", he said.
