Lebak Police Arrest Two Suspects Of Abusing Subsidized Solar
LEBAK - The Lebak Resort Police (Polres) have arrested two suspects in the misuse of subsidized diesel fuel to be sold to a number of projects in the Bekasi area, West Java.
"We have arrested two suspects with the initials SAM (25) Serang resident and JS (39) East Jakarta resident as well as a modified box car," said Lebak Police Chief AKBP Wiwin Setiawan in Lebak, Friday, June 10.
The two suspects in the misuse of subsidized diesel fuel have operated in Lebak Regency six times. They are suspected of buying 600 liters of subsidized diesel at the Mandala gas station in Lebak Regency at a price of Rp 5,150 per liter.
The suspect again sold the diesel to a project in the Bekasi area at a price of Rp. 8,000 per liter. The two suspects in the misuse of subsidized fuel were carried out by JS as the owner of the goods and SAM as the driver.
"We arrested the suspect at the Rangkasbitung-Serang toll gate after buying diesel at the Mandala gas station," he said, quoted by Antara.
He said the suspect's modus operandi was by buying subsidized diesel fuel at the Mandala gas station using a car L 300 Police Number B 9553 NCI. accommodate two tons of diesel," he said.
Suspect JS' profit, he said, was IDR 2,850 per liter or IDR 500 thousand per tonne. To account for his actions, suspect JS is subject to Article 55 of Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation as amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 22 of 2021 concerning oil and gas with a maximum penalty of 6 years imprisonment and a maximum fine of IDR 6 billion.
