Ace Hardware Owned By Conglomerate Kuncoro Wibowo Brings Good News, Willing To Divide Dividend Of Rp20.59 Per Share
JAKARTA - The retailer owned by the conglomerate Kuncoro Wibowo, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) will distribute dividends next month. This corporate action has been approved by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which took place on Tuesday 8 June.
"The dividend given is IDR 20.59 per share and will be distributed on July 8, 2022," said Ace Hardware Corporate Secretary Helen Tanzil.
For information, this household goods retail issuer pocketed net sales of up to Rp6.54 trillion in 2021. Ace Hardware sales fell 11.73 percent compared to net sales in 2020 which were recorded at Rp7.41 trillion.
The decline in sales also weighed on ACES' bottom line throughout 2021. ACES' net profit was recorded slightly down 3.93 percent yoy to Rp704.38 billion. In 2020, ACES' profit was recorded at Rp.733.19 billion.
Helen said that throughout the current year, ACES has closed two outlets. Even so, the company has opened 7 outlets in Surabaya, Bandung, Depok, Bogor, Lombok, Palembang and Tangerang.
Helen said, Ace Hardware will continue to expand. In addition, Ace Hardware will also continue to strengthen its omnichannel strategy.
Previously, ACES said it would focus on its three main strategies throughout 2022. First, to continue digital transformation by providing products that are relevant and in accordance with customer needs, as well as targeting sales and profit growth this year.
