Aleix Espargaro Recalls The Fatal Blunder In MotoGP Barcelona: I Cried, It Was So Embarrassing

JAKARTA - Aprilia Racing rider, Aleix Espargaro, never thought he could make a fatal mistake like what happened at the Barcelona MotoGP, last weekend. He said it was a big mistake in his career.

At that time, Aleix Espargaro lost his second podium after miscalculated the number of remaining laps. When the race was still one lap left, the Spaniard was already waving his hand.

He thought the race was over. Aleix Espargaro's mistake was used by Johann Zarco, Jorge Martin, and Joan Mir who managed to overtake him.

"It was a big mistake. I am 32 years old and have been in the world championship for 16 seasons. I have had falls, injuries, engine failure, but something like this has never happened to me," said Espargaro, as reported by Motosan.

"I had a bad moment because I could have finished second. I started crying. It's a shame," he continued.

The former Suzuki Ecstar racer said, as a human being, it is natural to make mistakes. However, the mistakes he made during the race at the Catalunya Circuit were unacceptable.

"When mistakes like that happen, it makes me very angry," he said.

Aleix Espargaro again explained, he was very focused on the race. He also can not see well all the information that exists when traveling at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

"I will try to concentrate even more," said Aleix Espargaro.
