President Jokowi Visits Batang To Review Electric Battery Industry
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo on Wednesday morning left for Semarang and headed to Batang Regency, Central Java, to review the electric battery industry, in one of a series of activities. Based on an official statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday 8 June, President Jokowi and the entourage took off using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, at around 07.00 WIB. Upon arrival at the Ahmad Yani Army Main Air Base, Semarang City, the President will continue his journey to the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate (KITB) in Batang Regency by land route. At KITB, the President is scheduled to attend a ceremony for the implementation of the second phase of the integrated electric battery industry. After that, the President is scheduled to go to Omah Tani Field, Batang Regency, to celebrate the produce of the Social Forestry Community Movement (Echo) will then return to the Ahmad Yani Army Main Air Base to take off for Jakarta. After arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the President will inaugurate the At-Taufiq Mosque which is located in the Lenteng Agung area, South Jakarta. After the event, the President will return to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to then take off to Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. A number of ministers and officials who accompanied the President and Mrs. Iriana on the flight to Central Java Province included Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Marsda TNI M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of Paspampres Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin.
