Pecalang Goes Down The Arena To Help Police Secure A Demonstration In Bali

DENPASAR - The pecalang are now going to the arena to help the police. Pecalang was involved in securing a demonstration that voiced rejection of the Omnibus Law on the Job Creation Law.

This pecalang is behind the police line. It appears that a tactical vehicle was also prepared to escort the demonstration which was followed by the crowd dressed in black.

This crowd moved from behind the campus of Udayana University, Jalan PB Denpasar. They carried banners as well as posters that read aspirations against the Job Creation Law.

Apart from students, the mass action which took place in front of the Udayana University campus was also joined by a group of workers. There is one student who was secured before joining the demonstration.

"Earlier there were vocational students we secured, carrying posters we asked, we couldn't answer. We previously had an agreement from the office when students from vocational high schools, high schools and below, they would immediately provide guidance to students, "said Denpasar Police Chief, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan.
