The Price Suddenly Soared, Two Stocks Directly Monitored By The Stock Exchange
JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has monitored two stocks, namely PT Arkadia Digital Media Tbk (DIGI) and PT Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (BMSR). These two stocks are considered by the IDX to experience a significant price increase.
Due to this unusual movement, the IDX has determined DIGI and BMSR shares to be in unusual market activity (UMA) status. The determination was delivered by the IDX on Monday, June 6.
The increase in DIGI's share price is quite fast after the price has continued to decline since the beginning of the year. However, from June 2 to June 6, DIGI's share price shot up from Rp60 to Rp109.
Likewise, BMSR shares have continued to increase in price since May 30 from Rp. 284 to Rp. 685 as of June 6. In fact, since the beginning of the year BMSR's share price has been fairly stagnant.
Even so, the UMA status at DIGI and BMSR does not necessarily indicate a violation of the laws and regulations in the capital market sector.
"In connection with the occurrence of the UMA on the shares of DIGI and BMSR, we need to convey that the IDX is closely monitoring the development of the transaction pattern of these two shares," the letter said.
Therefore, IDX urges investors to pay attention to Arkadia Digital and Bintang Semestaraya's response to the Exchange's confirmation request, observe the performance and disclosure of information, review the corporate action plan if the plan has not been approved by the GMS, and consider various possibilities that may arise in the future. before making investment decisions.
