Formula E Is Completed, PDIP-PSI Strictly Wants Interpellation To Continue
JAKARTA - This year's Jakarta Formula E racing event was completed on Saturday, June 4 at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC), Ancol, North Jakarta.
Then, what about the interpellation right of Formula E, which was proposed by the members of the PDIP and PSI factions in the DKI Jakarta DPRD? Apparently, the two parties still want the interpellation to be realized.
"The interpellation is still alive. It is clearly being pushed forward," member of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Gilbert Simanjuntak, told reporters, Monday, June 6.
However, it is not that PDIP is reluctant to try to realize the right of interpellation. However, now the ball is in the hands of the council members from the seven factions who previously expressed their rejection of the interpellation.
"The problem is not with PDIP and PSI, but other factions don't want this money to be questioned again. Shouldn't PDIP and PSI ask the other 7 factions. Why don't they want to, What's with dinner and then you refuse?" said Gilbert.
Meanwhile, before Formula E was implemented, the PSI faction member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Idris Ahmad, had no problem with the Formula E interpellation meeting starting again after the electric racing event was held on June 4. He emphasized that PSI focused on using DKI APDB rather than the Formula E event.
"The focus of this interpellation is not on the race, but on the use of the money. So, if the race is running and finished, we will still ask," said Idris when met at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Wednesday, April 20.
Idris revealed that the purpose of the proposed interpellation was to ask the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan about the use of the 2019 and 2020 DKI APBD for payment of commitment fees.
"Responsibility of IDR 560 billion is used from the Dispora Regional Budget to pay the commitment fee, that's the problem. So, at the beginning we emphasized that it was not against the race, but we focused on the clarity of the use of the budget," said Idris.
In addition to the commitment fee, the DPRD will also use the right of interpellation to question the clarity of the revision of the feasibility study which must be corrected because the implementation has been postponed from 2020.

The journey of the proposed interpellation rights that has not materialized
Some time after PDIP and PSI submitted the interpellation proposal, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, held a meeting of the Jakarta DPRD Deliberative Body (Bamus) on September 27, 2021, chaired by Prasetyo. Prasetyo, at the Bamus meeting, scheduled a plenary meeting for the Interpellation of Formula E to be held the following day. On the same day, seven factions expressed their disapproval of Prasetyo's decision to set the plenary meeting schedule. The seven factions are the Gerindra Party, PKS, PAN, Golkar, Nasdem, Democrats, and PKB-PPP.
The next day, 28 September 2021, the interpellation plenary meeting was held. This meeting will determine whether the interpellation can be carried out by summoning the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan to explain the problem of implementing Formula E.
However, those present were only 33 DPRD members from the PDIP faction. As a result, the voting on the interpellation decision had to be postponed. Not attending the plenary meeting, seven factions and four deputy chairmen of the DKI DPRD instead reported Prasetyo to the Honorary Board (BK) of the DKI DPRD.
It had dragged on for months, finally BK held an examination of Prasetyo on February 9. After examining Prasetyo, the BK held an internal meeting to decide whether Prasetyo had violated the code of ethics or not because he had held a plenary meeting for the Interpellation of Formula E.
Until finally, on March 14, 2022, the results of the examination came out. The BK DPRD DKI decided that Prasetyo as the reported party was declared not to have violated the code of ethics of the DPRD DKI Jakarta. On the other hand, the interpellation plenary meeting has not yet been rescheduled.
