JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Pandjaitan announced that he would limit the number of visitors to the tourist area of Borobudur Temple, Central Java, to 1,200 people per day. On the same occasion, Luhut also announced that he would set a new entry fee for visitors to the Borobudur Temple tourist area. The entrance ticket to Borobudur Temple is 100 dollars for foreign tourists and domestic tourists of Rp. 750 thousand. Especially for students, we provide a fee of Rp. 5,000. This was conveyed by Luhut in his Instagram caption, Saturday (4/6). This step is carried out solely to preserve the historical and cultural wealth of the archipelago.
