After Persecution Of His Victims To A Beaten, Three Thieves In Banyumas Arrested By Police

BANYUMAS - A man with the initials DS was arrested by members of the Resmob Unit of the Banyumas Police in connection with a violent theft in Bobosan Village, North Purwokerto District, Banyumas.

Banyumas Police Chief Kombes Edy Suranta Sitepu through the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Banyumas Police Commissioner Agus Supriadi explained that the perpetrator carried out the action on Monday, May 30, at around 23.00 WIB on Jalan Gunung Cerme Kel. Bored District. North Purwokerto, Kab. Banyumas.

"The perpetrator with the initials DS (22) is a resident of Bobosan Village, North Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Kompol Agus Supriadi, in a written statement, Sunday, June 5.

Agus explained that the DS perpetrator was arrested after a police report from the victim, a resident of Bobosan Village, North Purwokerto District, Kab. Banyumas.

"The opsnal team of the Resmob unit interrogated the victim to get the characteristics of the perpetrator then the team carried out an investigation and profiling through social media. After receiving the information, the DS perpetrator was arrested on Thursday, June 02 2022 at 08.00 in the parking lot of the mini market in the Kober area ", said the Criminal Investigation Unit.

After the arrest, the suspect admitted that he had committed the crime of theft with violence along with his two colleagues who are currently still on the DPO.

"The suspect carried out the action with the other two perpetrators. The victim was beaten, beaten and kicked alternately towards the body and head. Then the three perpetrators fled with the victim's motorbike, a black Oppo A16 cellphone and a black INK helmet", said the Head of Criminal Investigation.

In this incident, investigators managed to confiscate evidence from the crime in the form of a black Yamaha Mio motorbike which was secured from the DS perpetrator, while other evidence in the form of a cellphone and a helmet are still being sought.

"For this incident, the officers conducted an examination of the suspect to develop the case and search for the suspect who is still on the DPO along with other evidence," explained the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit.
