JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kembangan Police has succeeded in apprehending the perpetrator of the debt collector's motorcycle robbery, who had been on the run some time ago.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kembangan Police, AKP Reno Apri Dwijayanto, confirmed the arrest. Reno said, several debt collectors with DPO status were arrested as a result of developing the OYS suspect who was arrested first.

However, he said that there were still three other perpetrators who were still under the development of the Criminal Investigation Unit.

"We are still investigating, we have already secured a few more," he said when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, June 2.

However, his party is still continuing to develop to arrest the other three perpetrators. His identity is also known.

Previously, it was reported that OYS (31), a debt collector, was secured by the Kembangan Sector Police from angry residents after being caught stealing the victim's motorbike on Jalan Raya Joglo, Kembangan, West Jakarta, Friday, May 26, yesterday.

The Head of the Kembangan Police, Kompol Binsar Sianturi, explained that the perpetrator was arrested shortly after taking the victim's motorbike.

"The perpetrator acted together with 3 other colleagues. However, the 3 colleagues managed to escape," said Kompol Binsar when confirmed, Monday, May 30.

The officer with the rank of jasmine recounted that the incident began when the perpetrator OYS (31) together with 3 other colleagues stopped the victim's property, Ilyas Ramadhan, who was driving an automatic motorbike in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta.

"The perpetrator's mode of claiming to be a leasing officer and accusing the victim of being late in paying the installments and a fine for taking BPKB," he said.
