Starting June 1, Pangrango Train Passengers Can Ride From Bogor And Paledang Stations
JAKARTA - Passengers of the Pangrango train (KA) starting Wednesday, June 1, can ride via Bogor Station, West Java.
Thus, passengers now have an alternative to adjust their needs, they can ride from Bogor Station or Bogor Paledang Station. However, passengers who have ordered tickets through the KAI Access application, agents, and minimarkets can enjoy this service.
"Thus, prospective Pangrango train passengers who have purchased tickets online and will board from Bogor City now have an alternative and convenience to adjust their needs, they can ride from Bogor Station or Bogor Paledang Station," said Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa quoted from Antara, Monday 30 May.
Eva said that buying tickets through online channels, such as the KAI Access application, which can be downloaded via Android or IOS devices, is highly recommended for use by prospective passengers.
According to him, by purchasing the online route, prospective passengers no longer need to queue and avoid the risk of overcrowding at the counter that can occur at any time.
The departure schedule for the Pangrango train from Bogor Station is to depart at 08.20 WIB, arrive at Sukabumi at 10.30 WIB, depart at 14.20 WIB, arrive at Sukabumi at 16.30 WIB, depart 19.50 WIB, and arrive at Sukabumi at 22.00 WIB.
The Pangrango train series consists of two executive trains and four economy trains.
Passengers can order tickets through the KAI Access Application or purchase a go show three hours before the scheduled departure at the station counter.
The Pangrango train ticket fare for executive class is Rp. 80,000 and economy class is Rp. 40,000.
"The Pangrango train also serves passengers up and down at a number of other stopping stations, such as Batutulis, Maseng, Cigombong, Cicurug, Parungkuda, Cibadak, Karangtengah, Cisaat and Sukabumi stations," he said.
Furthermore, Eva said that since it started operating again on April 10 to May 29, 2022, the Pangrango train has served around 104,000 passengers.
The Pangrango train journey continues to follow the health protocol in accordance with the provisions set by the Government through the Circular (SE) of the Ministry of Transportation Number 57 of 2022. Among them, the minimum first dose of vaccine and children under 6 years old must have a companion who meets the travel requirements.
In addition, customers must also wear a standard three-layer mask, maintain hand hygiene, maintain distance, stay away from crowds, and have a body temperature of no more than 37.3 degrees Celsius.
Eva emphasized that PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta always follows and complies with all regulations from the government in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in rail transportation modes.
